The Hedge Fund Technology Group is a professional organization whose mission is to encourage innovation and forward thinking technology leadership in the alternative investments industry.  Our organization hosts events and facilitates collaboration, creating a community that challenges our members to be strategic thought partners that use technology to transform and drive business outcomes.

• Our organization consists of technology and operations professionals in the alternative investments industry.

• Our membership does not include vendors and we limit vendor participation and sponsorship to ensure that we have a non-biased dialogue and create an open community for discussion.

• Members are approved by the HFTG leadership team.

• We focus on the use of technology to transform business outcomes.

• Our goal is to help our members as the role of technology moves from order takers to idea generators/strategic partners.

• We encourage discussion and collaboration through meetings and online communities.   

• At our organized events we aim for a focus on strategic and innovative topics rather than tactical, detailed operational issues (although the community can be used to collaborate at that level).
